Game Thursday: Unicorn Sparkle: Treasure of the Clouds
Today we're going to look at a game that introduces the first rules: respecting turns and the sequence of play. Using a die, you advance around the board and perform a specific action corresponding to each square. Along the way, you earn prizes, and you work on logical-mathematical thinking by counting them (with the die and at the end of the game), and motor and visual-motor skills by placing them in their proper place. The objective of this competitive game is to achieve the highest score. This game also helps expand vocabulary and improve language skills.

Sparkle, Star, Flower, and Heart are the four unicorns who gallop happily through the cotton candy clouds, slide down the rainbow slide, or play with the sugar crystals... but... watch out! Suddenly, a storm is brewing! Who will help them reach the sun as quickly as possible and, along the way, collect as many sugar crystals as possible to regain their strength?
Using calculations and mathematical concepts appropriately will be essential to emerge victorious in this game.

A first dice game suitable for the little ones in the house.
Preparations:

Place the board in the center of the table, and place as many wooden unicorns as there are players in the game on the blue cloud, which is the starting space. Return the remaining unicorns to the box.
Place 4 sugar crystals on the sun, which is the end space of the cloud path, and the rest in a small pile, to collect as you progress through the game.
How do you play?
Playing in turns, the player who most recently saw a rainbow goes first. They roll the blue die and observe the result:
-
Cupcake ready? Take advantage of the opportunity to rest. Take a break and let your unicorn rest too. In other words, you're stuck in the same box. -
Did you get a face with clouds? Move your unicorn forward as many spaces as clouds appeared.
Now look at the square on the board where you have arrived with your unicorn:
-
Good! Advance along the rainbow to the square where it ends. This way, you advance faster to the finish line. A very simple way to outrun the others and win the game... or not. -
You've landed on the provisioning space. Roll the pink die and see how many sugar crystals you can collect for your unicorn. Keep them in your pile to count at the end. -
Gifts! It's time to give, so take a sugar crystal from the pile and give it to whoever you want. Choose between giving a head start to those with more or helping those with less. It's your choice.

Now it is the next participant's turn.
If the pile of sugar crystals runs out, we can't give them away or stock up. Only the four crystals we put in the sun cloud will remain, so... let's run!
How does the game end?
The first person to reach the sun cloud will keep the four crystals for their pile. Then, everyone counts their crystals, and the one with the most wins!
And what if a participant still can't count many numbers? No problem! Turn the board over and place all the crystals in a row in front of each unicorn. Whoever has the longest row wins!
