All fabrics used for these products are certified by The Global Organic Textile Standard (GOTS). This certified organic cotton is grown without the use of toxic fertilizers or pesticides.

Why Organic Cotton?

Conventional cotton is grown on only 3% of the world's agricultural land, yet it uses 25% of the planet's pesticides and chemical fertilizers. Cotton is the second most pesticide-laden crop in the world, after coffee. Organic cotton is healthier and better for the environment and people.

Corn fiber filling material

Polylactic acid (PLA) is a biodegradable thermoplastic obtained from corn starch. It is a renewable resource annually, compostable, hypoallergenic, antibacterial, and machine washable.

Wooly Organic products are filled with this product and are Oeko-Tex 100 certified, indicating they have passed all of their tests and are free from the top 100 pesticides or harmful chemicals.

Genetically Modified Organism Free (GMO Free)

All our textiles are GOTS certified, which ensures that the fibers used do not come from genetically modified organisms. Furthermore, only GMO-free corn is used in the production of corn fiber filling material.

NATURAL maple wood

All wooden parts used for the toys are made in Germany from natural maple wood and treated with organic beeswax.

FSC (Forest Stewardship Council) is an international non-profit organization that works to promote the practice of sustainable forestry and certifies forests worldwide to ensure they meet the highest environmental and social standards. Therefore, products such as FSC paper and wood have been obtained in an environmentally friendly, socially responsible, and economically viable manner.

Printed with soy ink

The printing process is done with soy-based ink. Unlike traditional petroleum-based ink, this ink is much more environmentally friendly.

Made in the Baltic States (European Union) - Sustainable - Zero waste

Wooly Organic collaborates with a social organization (Lude) and reuses surplus organic textiles to create rugs for nurseries. The entire process is handmade, from sorting the raw material, cutting the fabric into strips, and weaving it. You can imagine the warmth and care that goes into each Lude rug.
