25 Science Museums
When you like taking kids to museums, you want them to learn something, have fun, and spend quality time with the family. For several years now, museums in general have been modernizing and adapting to new customs, so that visits to the galleries aren't just about looking and not touching.
Fortunately, science museums were among the first to undergo modernization, beginning with the opening of the now-defunct CosmoCaixa in Madrid in 1981, which, coincidentally, was replaced by the most modern museum: MUNCYT . In my visits to many of them, I've found something they all have in common: they aim to bring science closer to the public and help us understand the environment in which we live. Without science, there is no culture. And if you have fun learning, you learn twice as much. Or more.
Many of them offer educational programs for children, very interesting ways to spend a fun and enjoyable time. Remember that children learn through play. Almost all of them have fun activities for little ones. Just look at the schedule posted on their websites to ensure your spot.

While some have developed apps to make the visit interactive, using virtual reality systems that overlay additional information relative to your exact location at any given time to make the most of your visit, others offer guided tours led by highly motivated and qualified museum staff, who allow you to resolve any questions you may have along the way.
To show you how close they are, here's an interactive map showing the locations of the 25 Science Museums we're lucky enough to have in our country.
If you know of any others that aren't on the map, please let us know!
