Fear of the dark
How many times have we heard in the middle of the night the little bare feet running across the parquet floor at home, plat, plat, plat, plat…. Notice how they silently snatched the sheets that covered us away, feel a soft depression in the mattress and then their little arms wrap around our necks while they whisper in our ear: “Daddy, I’m scared”... You hug them back and gently stroke their hair while you ask:
"What are you afraid of?" "Of the dark"
He answers with his eyes wide open, as if darkness could materialize at any moment and forever rob us of everything we can't see. And I say to him, like someone about to reveal the best-kept secret of all time:
“Do you know how we can always defeat “the dark”?
His eyes widen, eager to know what foolproof trick we're about to reveal to him.
“With the LIGHT”
The fear of the dark is in our DNA, but there's a very simple remedy: LIGHT. We can leave the hall light on like our parents did, or add a night light, but I personally prefer night projectors . I like them not only because they provide a light that calms our little ones, but also because by projecting a friendly owl , a little sheep sleeping peacefully in a pile of hay, or a largedragon that will watch over our children's dreams onto the ceiling or wall, we create an atmosphere of sweet dreams. A soft ambient light that decorates and induces rest. When we go into their room, after doing the two million things we parents do after our children have fallen asleep, I love watching them rest peacefully in the dim light of the projector. The simplest projectors only need a plug to project their image. There are also those that have several characters or scenes to project, which gives us a lot of room to choose who will be chosen to guard their dreams. There are those with images of fairies , outer space , guardian angels , and other children's images like this one or this one . There are even those equipped with a soft melody that repeats itself until it turns off by itself after half an hour, with images of elves while the song "Do you know how many little stars there are?" plays , guardian bears with an anonymous lullaby, or cute little animals , with the famous Brahms lullaby. But I personally like the projector flashlight the most. I love it because it's not only a projector, but on the other side it's also a flashlight, and I don't have to tell you how much little ones love a flashlight! So, apart from fulfilling its function as a nighttime fear remover, they can also take it with them if they want to go to the bathroom, defeating "the dark" down the hall. It also serves as a toy for them, as they can project it wherever they want and have countless adventures with the different characters. Lately, the bat has been in charge of watching over our dreams. Fortunately, the spider's time has passed; he found it very funny, but I'm a bit of an arachnophobe. You can see all the ones we have here . And you, which one do you like the most?
