Golden Train: Instruction Summary
Aim:
Be the player with the longest train when the explosions are over.
Preparation:
- Deal the locomotive cards to each player.
- Place the numbered wagon cards face down in one deck, and the dynamite cards in another deck.
How to play:
- On your turn, take a card from the car deck and place it behind your engine.
- Remember the value of that card, which you can no longer see when you turn it over.
- If it's a sheriff, remember where you put it.
- If you already had a similar car on your train, take a card from the explosives deck and turn it over.
- Look at its value and remember where there is a car on other players' cards with that value, or a lower value. If the explosive card has a value greater than 1, you can also explode as many cars as the sum of their values. Once used, discard the explosive card.
- If you guessed correctly, the other player's wagon is destroyed and returned to the deck. If not, the other player's wagon remains, and one of yours goes to the deck as a penalty.
- If you tried to blow up a wagon protected by the sheriff, one of your wagons will go into the deck.
- When the explosive cards run out, the person who has the longest train wins the game.
Tips:
- Memorize the cards you have seen.
- Pay attention to the sheriff letters.
Have fun!
