- Hand out a briefcase, a marker and an investigation file to each player, and place the cards in the centre of the table, shuffled and face down. Choose a key and place it next to the cards.
- Everyone plays at the same time: Draw the cards in the centre that show the colour of the key.
- You will have to gather all the information about the time of the crime, the suspect, the murder weapon, the location and the getaway vehicle from witness statements, DNA traces, alibis and other findings.
- Case solved? The key is taken from the centre of the table and a negative point card is returned in the point tally. The rest of the players continue with the investigation.
- The code is extracted from the case results and the key is inserted into the corresponding lock. Do the colours match? Case solved!
- Whoever finds the correct combination and has scored the fewest points wins the game!
