Crayon Rocks

Crayon Rocks

Crayon Rocks are a tool designed by Barbara Lee, an American who has spent more than 20 years teaching children with special education needs.
During that time, she noticed that many children could not write properly, and as a result their test scores were affected by their handwriting. She noticed that the sooner they began to grasp the paints well, the sooner they were better suited to the shape of the pencils and their handwriting improved more quickly than if they learned this skill when they were older.
For four years he spent four years designing, refining and improving a writing tool that would allow this for the youngest children. And so Crayon Rocks was born. To make the handwriting process easier for children.

Crayon Rocks

Crayon Rocks are brightly colored paints made from natural soy wax grown in the USA and colored with natural mineral pigments. The colors are bright, non-toxic and a better choice than traditional waxes made from petroleum derivatives.
They do not split and are designed so that children can inadvertently pick them up using their fingers correctly, strengthening their grip muscles and preparing their fingers and hands for handwriting.

Their shape allows coloring with both thin and broad strokes to create color-rich images more easily. They do not stain clothes or hands, and work equally well for left and right-handed people.

Crayon Rocks are a tool often used by occupational therapists to develop fine motor skills.
