The UGears differential assembly consists of the following parts: drive and secondary gears, locking lever, locking clutch and two wheels. You can bring the model to life by simply pushing the lever in the first position (up), which sets the traction gear and two wheels in motion. In turn, the control lever is used to regulate the smooth locking of each wheel independently. The 2nd position of the lever (down) allows the wheels to remain inactive and locked, or to turn simultaneously.

What is included in the UGears STEM lab box? A pocket guide for studying the model, a beautifully illustrated and detailed manual, the high quality plywood boards with the laser pre-cut parts and the rubber bands. You will not need glue or any other special tools.

In addition, the UGears STEM-lab series includes the Augmented Reality (AR) feature. To use it, download the STEM Lab application, point the cell phone or tablet at the model, and the application will show all the features of the mechanism, as well as its real-life applications. You can also study the mechanism from any angle and zoom in on it.
