CUCUTOYS continues to operate normally online (COVID-19)

Online trading is among the activities allowed by the government in the state of alert even during this period from March 30 to April 9.

We have assessed our position very carefully since the beginning of the pandemic and we are constantly evaluating it on a daily basis and have come to the following conclusion:

Thinking only of the children, who have had to go through this exceptional situation of confinement and trying to minimize the impact this confinement may have on them.

We have in our minds all the parents who, like ourselves, find themselves having to play the role of teacher, friend, playground, gymnastics instructor and continue to telework.

We think of the grandparents, aunts, cousins, relatives and friends who are not going to be able to be next to that child who has to blow out the candles.

We also think that this child is not to blame for the situation we are in and deserves his birthday presents.

Over the last few days we have talked to many of you and you have told us your stories, situations and experiences. We have given each other encouragement. It has made it much easier for us to know that that toy we were wrapping that afternoon was going to bring a child a smile tomorrow. That those grandparents would call him by whatsapp to congratulate him and he would proudly show them his gift. That even though we are physically farther apart now we are closer than ever.

That's why we can only tell you to be bold and brave. - Together we can beat him. - There is less left and above all everything will be fine.

Solve here the doubts about the current situation caused by the Coronavirus (COVID-19) in Cucutoys.

Are you still working normally?

As a preventive measure, we have closed our physical store in Madrid and we are working from home, except for the minimum time necessary to prepare shipments in the warehouse, where we have taken the utmost precautions, strengthening measures of cleanliness, hygiene and, above all, security, establishing separate shifts between us.

Can we still buy toys these days?

Online shops are among the exceptions considered by the government with the last regulation approved on March 29th 2020 in the Royal Decree-Law 10/2020.

We want to minimize the impact of confinement on younger children, and that they can have their birthday presents even if you can't all be together.

What happens if the transport agency cannot deliver my order?

We check daily the shipments to those zip codes corresponding to the locations that are currently confined. If your location becomes a restricted area, and your order cannot be delivered, we will contact you.

Do the transport agencies work normally?

We have temporarily deactivated the international transport agencies, shipment to the Balearic Islands, as well as the collection in store.

MRW continues to make deliveries normally. Before making the delivery call the destination address to verify the delivery address and ensure that it will be possible to deliver. Due to these exceptional measures being taken by MRW in the current situation, if they have called but have not been able to contact you, the package remains in the office of destination MRW until the information is verified.

Do you make "no contact" deliveries?

We have verified that MRW is following the proper protocols for making contactless pick-ups and deliveries. If you are waiting for a shipment from us, you will have received an email with the online tracking and an SMS from MRW, where you can contact them to agree on a delivery time or make any questions.

I need to return a product that I no longer want or that has stopped working, what should I do?

We continue to serve all online channels in the normal way. You must contact us so that we can send you the instructions to return the product. If you live in an area where transport agencies cannot access, please let us know in your enquiry so that we can take note and extend the return period so that it does not harm you in the least.

Does the return period change during a health crisis?

Yes, in accordance with Royal Decree 463/2020 of 14 March, which declares the state of alert for the management of the health crisis situation caused by COVID-19, the fourth additional provision mentions the suspension of prescription and expiry periods:

The prescription and expiry periods of any actions and rights shall be suspended during the period of validity of the state of alert and, where applicable, of any extensions adopted.

What does this mean? That from March 14th the days of the withdrawal period that we give will cease to count,
